How To Activate The Starved Electric Car Battery?

When someone is not at home, the electric car battery is put on the car, the air switch is not turned off, and it is a bad habit to not ride for a few months. When I came back riding a few months later, I found that the car was out of power and the charge could not be charged. The charger is plugged in, but it is always a green light. Even if it is plugged in for 24 hours, it is still green. Because the battery voltage is too low, if the battery output voltage is too different, the charger cannot charge the battery into the battery.

This situation is that the battery that everyone usually says is "starved to death." The voltage of this battery block battery is generally only about 5.6V, and will not exceed 6V. For such batteries, most of them are battery replacement. But for a group of batteries, hundreds of them, it is a pity to replace it, especially the battery that has just been guaranteed.

Here are five better ways to save most of this "starved" battery. Note that most of them are not 100%.

First, the series method. A normal voltage 12 volt battery was additionally connected in series across the battery. For example, the original car is a 48V-20AH battery, then we will connect another 12V-20AH battery. A fully charged 12V battery has a voltage of about 13V. After the series connection, it can raise the voltage of the whole battery, and then use his original charger to charge. In this case, the electric charge can be charged. After plugging in the charger, the charger It is a red light, and you can charge it in at this time. When the charger turns green, remove the battery that is connected in series. Then you can charge it normally.

Second, the parallel method. This method is a bit more troublesome. For example, the vehicle was originally a 48V-20AH battery, and we also connected a group of 48V-20AH batteries. It is known that the voltages across the parallel circuits are equal, and the high voltage terminals will flow into the low voltage terminals. This method is also used by many battery dealers to detect batteries that are completely dead. Then charging can also achieve the purpose of charging. This principle is followed by a series of batteries, the principle is similar. It is also to raise the voltage of the whole group.

Third, low-voltage charging method. Use the charger of the small one to charge. For example, a set of 60V-20AH batteries, then we use a 48V-20AH charger to charge. In most cases, it can also be filled. The principle is similar to the first one, which brings the charging voltage closer to the voltage across the battery.

Fourth, the single battery charging method. The battery can be activated by charging a single battery with a 12-volt motorcycle charger. However, this charging is relatively slow. Generally, it takes more than 7 hours to fully charge the battery voltage to about 12V. If all the monoblocks are time consuming.

Five, special charger method. Some chargers are able to automatically identify the battery voltage, regardless of how many volts a group of battery voltage, can automatically identify the voltage, he can charge it. For example, the original car is a 60V-20AH battery, now only 30V less, it can still be charged inside. As the voltage rises, it is fully adapted to the higher first-order voltage.

Either way it can be activated. Dear friends, did you have this battery before?
