1. Model of domestic battery
The model of the domestic battery is generally marked on the shell, which is divided into three sections and five parts:
The number of cells connected in series-the type and characteristics of the battery-rated capacity and special performance
Such as: 6-QA-105D
"6"——Use Arabic numerals to indicate the number of cells connected in series;
"QA"-Use Chinese pinyin letters to indicate the main purpose and type of batteries, and their meanings are as follows:
Q—starting battery; M—battery for motorcycles; JC—battery for marine use; HK—battery for aircraft;
"A"——Use the Chinese pinyin letters to indicate the characteristics of the battery (no words are dry-sealed ordinary lead batteries, "A" is dry-type charged batteries, and "B" is thin-shaped
Board; "W" does not require maintenance);
"105"——The number indicates the rated capacity of 20h discharge rate; 105Ah
"D"-the Chinese pinyin letter indicates the special performance of the battery (G-high starting rate battery: S-indicates the plastic shell; D-indicates the low temperature starting performance is good) national standard battery model
Take the battery model 6-QA(w)-54a as an example, the description is as follows:
（1）.6 means that it is composed of 6 single cells, each cell has a voltage of 2V, that is, the rated voltage is 12V;
（2）. Q indicates the purpose of the battery, Q is the battery for automobile starting, M is the battery for motorcycles, JC is the battery for ships, HK is the battery for aviation, D is for the battery for electric vehicles, and F is for the valve-regulated battery;
（3）. A and W indicate the type of battery, A indicates dry-charged battery, W indicates maintenance-free battery, if not marked, it indicates ordinary battery;
（4）.54 indicates that the rated capacity of the battery is 54Ah (a fully charged battery, at room temperature with a discharge current of 20h at a rate of 20h discharged by the battery);
（5）. The corner mark a represents the first improvement to the original product, and the corner mark b after the name represents the second improvement, and so on.
Note: ①Add D after the model to indicate good low temperature start performance, such as 6-QA-110D.
②Add HD after the model to indicate high anti-vibration type.
③Add DF after the model to indicate low temperature reverse installation, such as 6-QA-165DF.
2. Model of German battery
The lead storage battery produced in accordance with the German DIN standard consists of 5 numbers, divided into two parts, the front and the rear, separated by a neutral position in the middle. The first 3 numbers indicate the rated voltage and rated capacity of the battery, and the last two numbers indicate the special performance of the battery.
DIN stipulates that the base of the first digit of 3 single-cell batteries is "O", and the base of the first digit of 6 single-cell batteries is "5"; the second and third digits of the model represent the tens digit of the battery's rated capacity and Digits. When the rated capacity exceeds 100 ampere hours, each additional 100 ampere hour
At the time, the first digit should be added with "1". Such as "09811"
The rated voltage is "6V" and the rated capacity is 98 amperes per hour; another example is the "13512" battery, which has a rated voltage of "6V" and a rated capacity of 135 amperes per hour.
The model of the battery used in Santana is "55415", which means that the rated voltage is 12V and the rated capacity is 54 ampere hours.
The last two digits indicate the technical performance and structural characteristics of the battery.
3. Models of American and Japanese batteries
The lead-acid battery produced in accordance with the American BCI standard consists of two sets of numbers, separated by a short horizontal line in the middle. The first group of numbers represents the battery group number, that is, the external dimensions of the battery; the second group of numbers represents the battery's low-temperature overdrive current value.
The battery model used by Beijing Cherokee is "58-475" or "58-500", with the same external dimensions. The starting current at -17.8°C is 475A and 500A respectively.
According to the Japanese standard, the model is composed of two parts.
Such as 6N2-2A, 12N2A-4A, 12N7-3B
The first part shows the type of battery. The number "6" or "12" at the beginning indicates the nominal voltage of the battery; "N" represents the Japanese abbreviation; the following numbers indicate the 10-hour capacity value; the letter after the number indicates that the type of battery under the same capacity is different; The second part indicates the position of the terminal and the exhaust port. The number indicates the location of the terminal, and the letter indicates the location of the exhaust port.
